08/20/2007 All songs are now free. Let me repeat: ALL SONGS ARE NOW FREE. Yes, these are full length songs direct from the CD. No, they aren't remixes, song edits, mono channel backwater dubs or subliminal messages (damn!) Yes, there's no strings attached, no hidden agenda's, no ulterior motives. No, there's no if ands or buts.   But, if you feel so inclined to support your friendly neighborhood self-financed independent musician types - like myself - then you can make a financial contribution (any amount really) to support the Scott Mosher Musical Appreciation Fund. Feel free to do so, I won't stop you... and it might even make you earn some bonus karma when it's time for reincarnation. Enjoy the tuneage!       03/30/2007 Updated the site with some minor reconfigurations (here and there) as well as uploaded a few new tracks to the Scott Mosher Myspace page. On the music end of things, well... just got my glorious magenta 7-string back from being set-up and it sounds as phat as eva! Next, the ole keyboard hits the repairshop for some necessary (and costly, I'm sure) work.       02/15/2007 IYeah yeah yeah... I know it's been 2007 for 1-1/2 months and I haven't posted an update in quite some time. But, rest assured it's not for lack of trying or interesting news to report. Evidentally relocating from the right coast to the left coast - not to mention the excursion BACK into the hazaards of the job market - takes up more time and financial resources than I anticipated. But anyhow - here's what's goin' down:   1. A slight site redesign. Peep it now - for you who might've forgot! 2. New (read: lower, folks) price points and shipping and handling charges - hit up the site for more info (check out the Ordering and News sections. 3. A bunch of new song samples, this time, I've uploaded a slew of instrumental tracks from all of my past CD's, and get this - I'm whoring them out for free. Deals like this only come around once per minute on this here internet thingy. So grab your satchel and don't be shy to purchase a few CD's if you're feelin' generous. 4. Finished up the CD package design for a groovy "new gospel" (don't be afraid, it's pretty upbeat rockin' stuff!) vocalist, Michele McGovern (check her out here) 5. Working out a few freelance design projects for a few independent design firms here in San Diego and a Chocolatier - more on that when some links become available.   Well, that's it for now. Feel free to drop by and say "Howdy" just don't use a Kazakhstani accent, you'll offend the Toucans and raise the ire of anyone who wasn't already repulsed by Borat in a lime green thong.     11/30/2006: Hey there folks, here's what's happening in the land of Oz:   I've got a new CD out, DEEP HORIZON, and if you were wondering WHEN the musical wheel was going to be re-invented, well... this isn't it, BUT I will say if you are familiar with my past musical works, then you won't be disappointed. If you AREN'T "in the know" well then you've got yourself some sonic research to do!   Anyhow, DEEP HORIZON is the sonic equivalent of the Ginsu knife minus the carbonite handles. It even comes with it's own full color booklet - like you needed to ask. Yes, I'm shamelessly self-promoting here, but it's not like anyone else is going to do it for me, so please bear with the personal marketing campaign strategy for a second or two.   This is what I'm talking about: against the crushing tide in wake of the marketing behemoths of the major record labels, I'm one of them independent, self-financed artist types doing my best to expose the masses to my trade. With DEEP HORIZON, I feel this is the culmination of my creative talents into 1 cohesive, focused and dynamic project - an actualization of my muse and a professional realization of music and art.   If you feel like there's nothing new or exciting in the realm of music, well you might be wrong! There's plenty, and I hope I can clue you into to my own personal contribution. In other words, if you are bored with todays record company offerings, unchallenged with what you hear on the radio, or even antagonized by what you are exposed to from the car next to you at the traffic light blasting at 120 decibels, I think I've just might have something sonically invigorating to offer you... so surf on it and rock out!     09/10/2006 If you hit the DOWNLOADS page, you'll find 2 mock-up magazine covers I recently designed well, let's just say for PR reasons.
